Hello 2018 October Goals

Happy October, everyone! October is a very busy month that includes Aids Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Awareness, and deadlines for voting registration. With some much going on I dare not forget to say Happy birthday to all my Libras and Scorpios. With Autumn kicking into the swing of things it’s time to bust out the sweaters and start completing those last of the year goals before the new year is upon us. As always I’m making goals and crossing items off of my 1001 Project List. Which includes supporting our communities.  As I continue on my quest to support businesses owned and ran by People Of Color (POC) I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one putting in the effort.

During each week of October I will try to showcase at least POC owned business to make sure I am showing our communities support and giving them some exposure. I am also trying to build a local POC Business Directory for 2019 so if you know of some businesses please holla back! As you can see below I have a lot of things I want to do and I hope you all send positive vibes my way encouraging me to get them all done.  I can and I will accomplish my goals for October!  Wish me luck, y’all!

Personal Goals

  • Keep sticking to planner & schedules

  • Flex photography skills with flat lays (5)

    • Beauty, fashion & food

  • Complete 30 Day Cleaning Challenge (Popsugar.com)

  • Deep Clean Room (Sundays)

 Professional Goals

  • Create digital portfolio

  • 3 apps & 3 bids daily

  • Update Resume & Profiles

  • Go to 2 Meet Ups

Blogging & Influencer Goals

  • Create Realistic Editorial Calendar for the rest of 2018

  • Post 3 days a week on Instagram (Pictures form #FWMN)

  • Create & Post 1 YouTube Video

  • Reach out to 1 POC owned business a Week

 Health Goals

  • Complete Buns, Guns, & Abs Challenge (squishycheeksandcupcakes.com)

  • Stationary Bike 30 minutes daily

  • Adopt 1 new healthy eating habit

  • No Soda this month & keep a water bottle on hand

1001 Project Items

  • Visit 2 different 2 Museums

  • Watch a TedTalk

  • Visit historical site

  • 30 Day Plank Challenge

  • Create 2 Pairs of Earrings

  • Create a Photo Scavenger Hunt for November

  • Visit State Capital

  • Plan a brunch date for friends

I have a two 30 day challenges planned that I am driven to accomplish, on top of that that hopefully will compliment each other and get me to where I need to be in my health. I am also seeking to get out of my depression mode and get back into the swing of things through meditation and writing. I know that if I stick to a plan I can do what I have set out to do, but it will only work if I stay active, take care of myself and don’t lose my head.  I have a lot want to do can a partial plan to do it all.?
