My show and event recommendations vary due to my need to maximize my experience, network, support communities of color and supporting venues. Below you will find show and event recommendations that I believe will give you an amazing experience during Fashion Week Minnesota. These aren’t your only options of course, but these will get you on the road to good times!

Minnstafashion: Official Fashion Week MN Kickoff Event
7-9pm @ W-Minneapolis- The Foshay
This event is a great way to get just a quick taste of what is to come for the rest of Fashion Week. Though this in a more informal event you still want to be sure to dress to impress. It’s been my observation that the vendors tend to be pretty homogenous, but if you can get past that and stick around for the long haul you have opportunities to see live presentations from new and upcoming fashion artists. What sets The Minnstafashion: Official Fashion Week MN Kickoff Event apart from all of the rest is that this event aims at giving attendees an awesome opportunity to network and mingle with a lot of other fashion aficionados that you will inevitably will see throughout the rest of the week. Did I forget to mention that there will be prizes given to the best dressed and best Minnstafashion IG Story? Don’t forget to bring business cards!
