Cleaning and Writing

Truly, I have not much to write about today. I slept, washed clothes, put clothes away and ate. It was a good day to stay in and do a some cleaning and a little bit of brainstorming. I’ve gotten a few outlines written up and a few articles to get things going in February. Getting geared up for Black History Month is always a battle. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know for a fact I have to start preparing myself for battle fatigue. Because there will always be non-POC that question, sabotage, and attack because they feel threatened that we are celebrating and recognizing anything outside of white culture. If you can prepare yourself to block, ignore, and arm yourself with rebuttals the month can go rather smoothly. I sense this is going to be a wine month. Let’s get to it, already! ’m ready for February to get here! Treat each other with sympathy and empathy.
