Bottomless Mimosas

What is a family outing without a family selfie and the peace sign? Just people taking a picture I suppose.

I recently had the best experience going to Nightingale in the Uptown (Whittier Neighborhood). The latest gossip in the rumor mill that led us to this particular spot, “Bottomless Mimosas”.  Being the avid researchers that we are, we made it our mission to get down to the bottom of the story.

In case you couldn’t tell that rumor is 100% True for those of age. During the weekend brunch Bottomless Mimosas for $10.00 is an option along with a mouthwatering menu with a variety of food options. The food is on the pricier side, despite what the menu looks like. When your plates get to your table and after you take that first bite you truly feel the love dancing on your taste buds.

The meal options vary from omnivore to gluten free to vegetarian and plenty of the ingredients that go into your food are local. If you are thinking Nightingale is a place you want to check out be sure that you take a look at their menu online so that you plan accordingly. If I had to make a guesstimate about what you should expect to spend I would feel confident in saying you are looking at absolute minimum of $22.00 for food & drink, plus sipping & tipping.

A DJ corner without a DJ...that's okay as long as the good music keeps playing.

During our sitting an onsite DJ really was doing the atmosphere justice with great music choices.  When we stepped in we were greeted by with We are Family by Sister Sledge, which was very fitting as it was a girls day out with family for our little trio. If you are older than 23 one would have to agree that the music got better with each song played.  Sorry kids this just might not be the place for you.

The clientele feels to be in their mature 20s to mid-30s that are young professionals, laid back, and the typical urban uptown crowd.  The trendy and urban decor combined with good music creates an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed, and sociable making this a great place for friends to meet and play catch up. A double plus is that the kitchen serves the full menu until 1:00 am nightly and there is patio seating.

This spot is definitely worth a repeat visit. Coming here just once isn't an option.  Have you been to Nightingale lately? Leave a comment below sharing  what you recommend on the menu and who is your favorite server.
