This is a set of short handled brushes. These brushes are made up of synthetic fibers, but are incredibly soft and blend amazingly. This product only comes in two handle colors in which are either black or faux wood. The ferrule is silver. The bristles are black, but from the toe of the bristles to the top of the belly, they are a white/vanilla color. The girth and length of these brushes are just right for personal use.
This particular pack of brushes presented by Beauty Lally came with 10 brushes and a compact mirror. The box that I received didn’t come with a guide for the brushes, so I used them however I chose, which is what I usually do anyway.
Concealer Brush by Beauty Lally
This brush is truly a concealer brush. But it can also double as an eyeshadow brush when packing on a loose powder eyeshadow does a does the job expected for a concealer brush. It has the perfect grip for eyeshadow application
Lip Brush by Beauty Lally
The bristles are a bit too dense and tightly compacted to be a lip brush if that makes sense. To achieve the lip look, but great for packing on a layer of eyeshadow or adding color to your eye crease. This brush would also be great for highlighting the brow bone and corners of your eyes.
Eye Shadow Brush by Beauty Lally
Eye Shadow Brush
This brush is an eyeshadow brush that gets the shadow business done. There’s not much else to say it’s an eyeshadow brush…
Eye Shadow Blur Brush by Beauty Lally
Eye Shadow Blur Brush
This is one of my favorite brushes from this collection. The bristles are so soft and loosely dense that blending out shadows is so simple and easy. The weight and grip of this brush fit so naturally in one’s hand.
Eyebrows Brush by Beauty Lally
When the brush is still fresh and brand new, you can use this brush to apply a gel or powder eyeliner creating sharp lines. This eyebrow brush does a good job filling in eyebrows and creating full lines. Using this brush you can see that there are far too many bristles for this brush to maintain creating a thin line.
Shimmer Brush by Beauty Lally
When using this brush one can choose to use it for illuminating the highest points on your face as this brush intends. I also seeing myself using this when applying a powder blush.
Makeup Brush by Beauty Lally
The Makeup Brush would make a great tool for contouring and sculpting as long as you have a steady hand. I found that this brush has been a life saver when wanted to blur and blend sculpting lines in the cheek and chin areas.
Flat Foundation Brush by Beauty Lally
This brush is most effective when used with cream and liquid foundations. I was expecting an actual flat brush but ended up with a dense brush that was a bit rounded but the flat top. When using this brush I chose to use this brush for contouring. While using the Blush & Bronzer for my blush. This brush also does a great job blending.
Blush and Bronzer Brush by Beauty Lally
Blush & Bronzer
This angled brush is good for adding a bit of blush in all of the necessary places. It does a great job of blending creamy blushes and applying powder ones. Because the bristles are a bit loose using this to create sharp lines with a bronzer doesn’t work well with my rounded face shape.
Powder Brush by Beauty Lally
This powder brush does an excellent job of gently packing in face powders. Little to no pressure needs to be added when using this brush. It doesn’t have quite the push as a kabuki brush, but it will get the job done when you are in a pinch.
This set of brushes is ideal for the brand new makeup enthusiasts that know the basics to makeup brushes and believes there’s virtually no wrong way to use a makeup brush. The brush case was a splendid idea until I actually had to open it. I was extremely disappointed when upon opening the case’s snap fasten, it came off straight away. I also had to struggle to with opening the case to get access to the brushes even after getting the second snap fasten open. This brush set is a keeper for a personal brush set, but not necessarily for use on others due to its short handle. There's a 67% probability that your travel brush case will be defective which will defeat the purpose of purchasing if you are seeking this product solely for the travel capabilities. I would recommend this product for friends that are seeking shorter brushes and are new to the makeup scene.
