December Goals, November Goals Recap
Happy December and beginning of the holiday season. YAY! Happy birthday, Sagittarians and Capricorns. December joy has begun, and so has the insane holiday shopping season. Previously, in November Goals, October Goals Recap, I mentioned that I would keep moving forward and I am. By remaining flexible and forgiving when it comes to my goals and completing tasks I have been able to breathe a lot easier. I find that I have to start each day and end each day reminding myself that an unfinished task isn’t worth the extra added stress. I am working on processing that not completing a task right now doesn’t mean it can’t be done a little later than planned. It’s important to understand that thought, event, and an episode are all things that must end in a period, not an ellipsis.
Here’s a recap of November Goals, followed by a new set for December.
november goals recap
I have had a few hiccups along the way, but I feel good about the progress. The key in goal setting is to keep moving if you plan to go anywhere while acknowledging the punctuation that follows the task.
I’ve been pretty good at keeping to a planner. Who would have thought that the more you do it, the easier it will be? By sticking to my planner and being flexible about switching my tasks around I was able to accomplish quite a lot. I do regret that I didn’t complete my task of creating a workable desk space area, but I did move a majority of the items into better homes and will have the chance in December to have something more feasible. Speaking of work let me just share that I was able to get out invites, create flat lays, and live my life. I deserve a multiple of high fives in multiples of five thank you very much!
I ended up going a different direction with my resume, a way that made a lot more sense, so the digital portfolio didn’t get done, but I am pleased with my results. While I did not take on two writing gigs online, I did have three offers, but I had to turn them down because they were not willing to pay me what I deserve. Paying someone $2.50-$5.00 for a week-long project is unacceptable. Bish, who I look like?
blogging & influencer goals
I will admit I was overly ambitious when it came to posting on the blog and IG. In my mind, I was going to have so much extra time on my hands, but then I opted to work double shifts instead, and that pretty much killed my goals dead in their tracks. So...yeah that happened.
